Bridging
What determines the final swap rate in a bridge transaction?
The final rate depends on current market conditions, available liquidity, and solver quotes.
Can I modify an existing order after it’s created?
No. Once created on-chain, an order can’t be modified. You can cancel it and create a new one with updated parameters.
Can I bridge any token?
deBridge supports many tokens, but some less liquid or newly launched tokens may not have acceptable routes at a particular time.
What happens if a bridge transaction is delayed or pending?
If not fulfilled immediately, it remains as an open order. If it is never fulfilled, you should be able to cancel the transaction.
Is cross-chain bridging atomic (instant)?
The cross-chain bridge is near-instant as the transfers are completed in seconds, not minutes.
Why isn’t my bridging order executed instantly sometimes?
That means no taker (solver) has accepted it yet, possibly because the premium/spread is too low, or the risk is high. The order remains open until conditions become favorable.
How does deBridge guarantee that cross-chain transfers won’t fail on the destination chain?
Transfers usually complete within seconds, but in rare cases (e.g., due to market conditions or technical issues) execution may take longer.
What is “market bridging”?
Market bridging refers to a cross-chain asset transfer intended for immediate execution, i.e., a market order. When you create a market order on deBridge, the transaction is fulfilled instantly based on the best price available at that time.
