Getting Started
Do I need to hold native gas tokens on the destination chain?
No. You only need native gas tokens on the source chain to create and submit the order.
Does deBridge support staking?
No, DBR staking is in process, and we shall soon enable it for everyone.
How do I check the status of my transaction?
You can track your order in real time using the deExplorer by pasting your order ID, wallet address, or transaction hash. Orders can have the following statuses: Created, Fulfilled, Canceling, and Canceled.
How do I start using deBridge?
Visit the deBridge app, connect your preferred wallet, select the source chains and assets, and confirm the trade in your wallet. That’s it, the whole process only takes a few seconds.
Is there a minimum or maximum amount I can bridge or swap?
Yes. The maximum trade amount is $5.5 million. There’s no enforced minimum limit.
What fees will I pay?
All transactions have two fee components: chain flat fee (fixed) + Solver gas costs (dynamic). You also pay the gas fee on the source chain for initiating the cross-chain transaction.
What is deBridge?
deBridge is a cross-chain interoperability protocol that enables seamless transfers of assets and data across blockchains. It uses a 0-TVL architecture and supports native token transfers, cross-chain limit orders, and guaranteed rates.
What wallets are supported by deBridge?
deBridge supports a wide range of EVM and Solana wallets, including MetaMask, Phantom, OKX Wallet, Rabby, and all WalletConnect-compatible wallets.
Which chains does deBridge support?
deBridge supports 24+ chains, including Ethereum, Solana, Tron, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, HyperEVM, and others.
Swapping (Samechain swaps)
Can I swap tokens on the same chain via deBridge?
Yes. deBridge supports samechain swaps (i.e., token A → token B on the same chain) on all chains.
Can I use limit orders for same-chain swaps?
No, limit orders are not available for same-chain trades on deBridge.
How is price slippage handled in swaps?
deBridge allows you to set a slippage tolerance. This means what you see is what you get when performing a transaction.
What if I see “Order creation failed” or “Route not found”?
This often means there’s no viable route available for the transaction.
What’s the difference between a “swap” and a “bridge”?
Swap is the process of exchanging tokens on the same chain, while bridging is the process of moving tokens from Chain A to Chain B.
Bridging
Can I bridge any token?
deBridge supports many tokens, but some less liquid or newly launched tokens may not have acceptable routes at a particular time.
Can I modify an existing order after it’s created?
No. Once created on-chain, an order can’t be modified. You can cancel it and create a new one with updated parameters.
How does deBridge guarantee that cross-chain transfers won’t fail on the destination chain?
Transfers usually complete within seconds, but in rare cases (e.g., due to market conditions or technical issues) execution may take longer.
Is cross-chain bridging atomic (instant)?
The cross-chain bridge is near-instant as the transfers are completed in seconds, not minutes.
What determines the final swap rate in a bridge transaction?
The final rate depends on current market conditions, available liquidity, and solver quotes.
What happens if a bridge transaction is delayed or pending?
If not fulfilled immediately, it remains as an open order. If it is never fulfilled, you should be able to cancel the transaction.
What is “market bridging”?
Market bridging refers to a cross-chain asset transfer intended for immediate execution, i.e., a market order. When you create a market order on deBridge, the transaction is fulfilled instantly based on the best price available at that time.
Why isn’t my bridging order executed instantly sometimes?
That means no taker (solver) has accepted it yet, possibly because the premium/spread is too low, or the risk is high. The order remains open until conditions become favorable.
Limit Orders
Are limit orders guaranteed to execute?
No. They only execute if a solver finds them profitable and matches the price conditions. If no solver accepts, the order remains open.
Can I cancel a limit order before it’s fulfilled?
Yes. You can cancel a limit order at any time before it’s executed by opening its order page on app.debridge.com.
Do limit orders cost gas when placing them?
Yes, you’ll pay gas to submit the on-chain order creation transaction. The actual token isn’t moved unless the order is executed (unless you enable gasless limit orders, a feature coming soon on deBridge).
Do limit orders expire?
No, limit orders do not expire. However, you can cancel limit orders at any time.
How is “intent” different from “limit order”?
An “intent” is a user’s expressed desire to execute a trade under conditions (e.g., price target). In deBridge’s architecture, intents and limit orders are often interchangeable; the system treats them as orders that await takers.
What is a limit order in deBridge?
A limit order is an order to trade a token at a specific price (or better). If market conditions allow, solvers (takers) pick up the order and fulfill it. If not, the order remains pending until conditions match. Please note that you can only place limit orders in USDC.
P2P
deExplorer
Are all orders publicly visible?
Yes. deExplorer displays all orders (market or limit) and their statuses, for transparency.
Can I filter orders by chain, token, status, or date?
Yes, you can filter orders by source chain, destination chain, status, time filters, and many more options.
Can I see my own transaction via the deExplorer?
Yes, you can view your transaction by entering your transaction hash, wallet address, or order ID. You can trace status across chains and view fulfillment details.
How do I find which route was used for my bridging transaction?
Use deExplorer to view the route path, steps, intermediary assets, and solver actions.
What is deExplorer?
deExplorer is deBridge’s analytics & explorer interface. It provides on-chain insights, transaction tracing, cross-chain flows, and order history.
dePort
Are there extra fees for porting tokens?
Yes. When using dePort, two fees apply, including gas and a protocol flat fee.
Can I customize token metadata (name, symbol, decimals) when porting via dePort?
No. The metadata is inherited from the original deployment.
Can I deploy a token via dePort?
Yes, you can deploy any token to any supported chain with the help of dePort. It helps to provide a non-liquid, wrapped asset on the destination chain.
Can I use dePort to port NFTs?
Currently, dePort is designed for fungible tokens (ERC20 / SPL). NFT bridging is not yet supported.
Is it possible to deploy again a token that was already ported through dePort?
Yes. Once a token has been ported through dePort, its wrapped version (deAsset) is automatically deployed on the first destination chain.
What is dePort?
dePort is our custody solution, enabling anyone to securely port assets to any chain in a couple of clicks. It only takes two steps to port your token to any chain: port your asset to the required chain and make the asset tradable by creating a liquidity pool.
When should I use dePort vs standard deBridge bridging?
Use dePort when you need to port tokens (e.g., with special custodial or lock/unlock logic) where simple swaps/bridges are not sufficient. It handles more complex asset bridging scenarios.
Security
Are my private keys safe? Does deBridge custody funds?
Yes, your private keys are completely safe. deBridge is a non-custodial protocol where you always maintain control of your assets until orders are fulfilled. No one, including the deBridge team, has access to or control over your assets.
Can deBridge freeze or recover stolen funds?
No, deBridge is fully non-custodial and has no control over user funds once transactions are executed. However, our compliance team can cooperate when legally required.
Is deBridge safe?
deBridge emphasizes security, having undergone numerous audits (over 30 to date) and operating a $200k bug-bounty program. Additionally, its 0-TVL architecture reduces locked liquidity risk and attack surface vector.
What is the 0-TVL architecture?
0-TVL means the protocol holds no pooled user funds. Instead, it coordinates orders, and liquidity is managed off-chain by solvers who never cede control of their funds until execution.
Where can I find deBridge’s audit reports?
You can review all audit reports at https://github.com/debridge-finance/debridge-security?tab=readme-ov-file — over 30 audits have been completed by leading firms
Cancelling Orders
How can I cancel an order?
To cancel an order, open its page in our Explorer, connect the Order Authority address on the destination chain, click Cancel, specify the address to receive the refunded funds on the source chain, click Send Cancel, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
If I cancel a transaction, will I get my fees back?
When you cancel an order, all funds originally locked on the source chain are fully refunded, including affiliate and protocol fees. Only the cancellation transaction itself requires a small network gas fee.
Is there a cost to cancel an order?
Yes, cancellation requires an onchain transaction, so you’ll pay a small gas fee. There’s no protocol cancellation fee.
Tokens
How can I whitelist a token on deBridge?
To whitelist your token on deBridge, it must be verified on one of the supported platforms — Birdeye, CoinGecko, or Jupiter. Additionally, the token must meet the following criteria as listed in the answer inside.
Why isn’t the token logo displayed?
Token logos are displayed only for tokens that are whitelisted in our system.
API & Technical
Does deBridge’s DLN API require authentication or an API key?
No authentication is required for public endpoints such as /v1.0/dln/order/create-tx. However, API keys are available for higher rate limits.
What are deBridge Hooks, and how do they work?
Hooks allow developers to attach custom on-chain actions (e.g., contract calls, token transfers) that automatically execute upon order fulfillment.
DAO Governance
How does DAO staking work?
DAO staking is an upcoming feature that will allow users to stake DBR tokens to participate in governance. Stakers will be able to vote on proposals, and their voting power will depend on the amount of staked DBR and past participation.
What are the DAO’s objectives?
DAO's objectives are as follow: 1. Fully decentralize control over protocol parameters and treasury 2. Align community incentives with protocol growth 3. Ensure long-term economic security through validator staking 4. Provide transparency and accountability across all operations
What is the deBridge DAO?
The deBridge DAO is the decentralized governance body that will progressively manage protocol upgrades, treasury allocation, validator policy, and ecosystem development through onchain proposals and community voting.
Who can participate in governance?
Participation is open to: 1. DBR token holders (via staking) 2. Active ecosystem participants are recognized through the Points and Seasons system
