Cronos is live on deBridge
We’re excited to announce our support for Cronos, an Ethereum-compatible Layer 1 blockchain designed to bring real-world finance to billions, onchain.
Cronos aims to scale DeFi and GameFi by providing developers with the ability to rapidly port dApps from Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains. It is an open-source project based on Ethermint, Cosmos SDK, and Tendermint.
What makes Cronos so special?

- EVM Compatibility: Cronos is fully EVM compatible. Developers can deploy contracts using the same tools and workflows they are already familiar with.
- Scalable: The Tendermint consensus is robust, fast, and cheap. The Cronos validator node ecosystem is carbon-neutral, thanks to its low energy consumption.
- Architecture: The Cronos consensus is referred to as a proof-of-authority (POA) consensus, as it is a permissioned variant of the proof-of-stake consensus.
- Reliable: Cronos EVM has not stopped delivering blocks. Since its inception, it has securely settled more than 100 million transactions.
